When you travel on a standard scheduled flight, the planes usually fly at the same time every week, week after week, and often the timings of such flights do not fit in with the timings of your meetings, or your plans for the day.

Once of the biggest advantages of chartering your own plane is that you can pick, within reason when the plane leaves. In larger airports you may have to fit in with the scheduled planes, but in smaller airports which have very few flights, you can fly just about any time you like.
